1-Day vs Multi-Day Garage Floor Coatings

Some polyaspartic systems can be walked on the same day and driven on within about 24 hours when the slab is ready. Heavy repairs, moisture mitigation, or complex metallic work often need more than one day.
One-day is realistic when
- Slab is mostly sound with light cracks
- No thick failed coating to remove all day
- Weather and temperature fit the product window
- You choose a fast-cure system up front
Plan multi-day when
- Major crack or spall repair is required
- Old epoxy must be ground off extensively
- Metallic or multi-color custom work
- Moisture testing or primers add steps
